WELCOME TO LUOSTOLA HORSE FARM!
Our horse farm is located close to Luosto which is a nice ski resort in Lapland. Further information of the area and services: www.luosto.fi and www.pyha.fi
If you do not have car at your disposal, we will be pleased to arrange you transfer from Luosto. Local taxis are easy to use, most likely drivers do speak English, payments can be done by credit cards and they are available quite well. One way transfer from Luosto to horse stables is approximately 25 e/1-4 persons. If needed, we can order the taxi fto pick you up from your hotel or cabin. Transfer time is about 15 min. maximum.
Pyhä-Luosto is one whole area that is comprised of two fell resorts in the middle of Finnish Lapland (only 90 minutes from the Arctic Circle) with excellent facilities and well organised activity services.
At Luosto, you can be active all year round. The winter time offers skiing, visits Husky and Reindeer Farms and the Amethyst Mine (the only one in whole Europe which welcomes visitors), snowmobile safaris, snowshoe hikes to the untouched fell slopes and forest hacks with Finnhorses. All of these and many more wonderful experiences which soon transport you away from routine of daily life.
In summer you can admire midnight sun and hike in Pyhä-Luosto National park, enjoy fishing and bicyckling among other things.
Luostola Horse Farm is open all-year round and we do arrange both horseback riding and sleigh- and carriage driving programs. Our Finnhorses are safe and reliable pals on forest trails and on arena. Riding tours to nature are suitable also for novice riders, then they will be made in peaceful tempo.
Forest hacks are nice way to get familiar with local nature. In summer we can enjoy 24-hours sunlight and in winter - what could be more fun than ride on soft, white snow!
Luostola Horse Farm is family-owned and we all are very keen on horses. In riding programs we use comfortable western style saddles. We are always delighted to help our guests for enjoying these horse adventures in beautiful Lappish nature.
